NIKKIE was launched by owner Nikkie Plessen in 2011 and grew into an international brand with 25 company-owned stores and in-store shops at well-known department stores such as Galeries Lafayette, De Bijenkorf, Takashimaya, Hudson’s Bay, Robinsons and Le Marais in Europe and Asia. NIKKIE fills the gap between high-end and high-street fashion labels. Kate Moss is the international face of NIKKI and has her own ‘NIKKIE Selected by Kate Moss’ collection. The strength of the brand lies in its offer of high-end designs, luxury materials and elegant, feminine fits with affordable prices.

In 2016 NIKKIE launched the first ‘Selected by Kate Moss’ collection. The supermodel has teamed up with designer Nikkie Plessen to compile her favourites-line within all NIKKIE collections. The ‘Selected by Kate Moss’ collection represents the tough but feminine style of Kate Moss. It is a complete line of jackets, dresses, skirts, pants and tops.
Disney approached NIKKIE for an exclusive cooperation. NIKKIE launched the ‘NIKKIE x Disney collection’ (with Donald Duck) in the magical Disneyland Paris, the city of fashion and Donald’s home. The unique NIKKIE x Disney collection is part of the SS18 NIKKIE collection and available worldwide in all NIKKIE brand stores, department stores and online.

Growing up in The Netherlands, fashion drew her in as a little girl. She started young in the television world as an actress,
acted in several movies and comedies and hosted the daily life show for MTV Networks.
Later on she hosted live shows and programs for RTL.
Fashion was visibly always in her veins and when she was asked to be the leading lady of the TV program Best fashion designer,
she was assured of making her dream come true to start her own fashion label.
This dream became reality in 2011. Nikkie started designing a small fashion collection that reflected her personal feminine, sexy and edgy style.
Right now NIKKIE is distributed and sold by medium to high-end retailers in over 15 countries.
